Jessica's '16 And Pregnant' Afterthoughts: Felicia's Baby Daddy Alex Buys Sneakers For Himself Instead Of A Stroller!

MTV’s newest teen mom Felicia says she’d go back & do things differently if she could!

The Nov. 2 episode of 16 and Pregnant begins with a nice family setting for Felicia, the featured mom-to-be. She has a supportive mother and step dad, who let Felicia and baby daddy Alex live in their home while they prepare for the baby. But the situation at home slowly sours when Felicia’s mom, Ciara, starts arguing with Alex. She says he’s never around for Felicia, he spends all his time working or out with his friends, and he throws away all his money! And once little baby Genesis is born, things only get worse for the teen couple: Alex buys a brand new pair of sneakers when the baby doesn’t even have a stroller!

Here’s everything you need to know about Felicia:

How is she as a mom? Felica seems like she knows what to do when it comes to taking care of baby Genesis. She makes the smart decision to move back in with her mother after the baby is born to get the extra help she’ll need while finishing high school. She also realizes that Alex is basically no help when it comes to raising the baby. (Good thing she’s getting it early!)

What’s her family like? Her mom and step dad, Tony, are totally supportive! They even open their home to Alex, Felicia and Genesis. But one thing about mom is that she’s a little overbearing with Alex. She spends a lot of time interrogating him about where he’s going and scolds him fore spending too much time with friends. Still, he does pretty much deserve it!

How’s the baby daddy? Wow, he does not look like he is going to be a good father at all! This teen is still just a kid, and having a baby doesn’t seem to help him man up at all! As soon as he gets home from work, he goes back out with friends. And sometimes he doesn’t come home at all! The day little Genesis is born, he stays until she’s cleaned up, then leaves and promises to come back — but he doesn’t show up to the hospital again that whole day and night!

Alex is a horrible father. Seriously. All he cares about is himself. If he wasn’t ready to be a dad he shouldn’t have had unprotected sex. What a low life dead beat father.

he’s a 15 year old boy? all the girls on this show think bc they get pregnant their boyfriends will magically grow up and mature into men over night. that never ever happens. theres a reason half these girls end up alone.

Actually he is around 20. My husband and I got married when he was only 2 years older than that, and a year later we had our first child, and he is incredibly mature and a fantastic father, husband and provider. Men are constantly excused for their selfishness because they are “young”. Age has nothing to do with it, being raised to be responsible and to care for someone besides just themselves is what soooo many young men are lacking now.
