Stephen Amell (born on Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 8,1981) is a Canadian actor. He began his career in television in 2004, when he appeared in two episodes of Queer as Folk, which landed him other roles on TV shows such as ReGenesis, Da Kink In My Hair and Heartland. He joined the cast of hit CW series The Vampire Diaries in 2010, playing werewolf Brady. He landed other guest-starring roles on big shows including New Girl and Private Practice. In 2012, the actor was cast in the lead, titular character in CW series Arrow, and his career has skyrocketed ever since. He’s set to play Casey Jones in the sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film in 2016, along with starring in the 2016 film Whatever Makes You Happy.
