Stan Wawrinka (born Stanislas Wawrinka on March 29, 1985 in Lausanne, Switzerland) is a Swiss tennis player. The young player has been in three Grand Slam singles so far, and has taken the title in each. Winning the Australian open in 2014 and French open in 2015, the most shocking was his 2016 win at the US Open, where he upset fans by crushing veteran Novak Djokovic at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sept. 11, 2016

Personal Life:
Stan is the child of a Swiss mother and German father. He was raised in Lausanne, Swizerland with his older brother and two younger sisters. He attended the Rudolf Steiner School in Crissier, but stopped at age 15 to focus on tennis full-time. Instead, he enrolled with French organization CNED, which let him get an education with more flexibility. He began international juniors events at just 14 years old, which lead to a French Open Juniors win in 2003. He married his first wife, Ilham Vuilloud, a TV presented in 2009, and divorced in 2015. However, they did share one daughter named Alexia. Now he his dating Croatian tennis player Donna Vekić.
