Megyn Kelly (born Megyn Marie Kelly on November 18, 1970 in Syracuse, New York) is an attorney turned journalist and political commentator for Fox News. Before being given her own series, The Kelly File, in 2014, Megyn hosted America Live, America’s Newsroom, and five years of the network’s New Year’s Eve specials. The same year she was given her own show, Megyn was listed as one of TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. Megyn worked as an attorney for over 9 years before switching to full-time journalism in 2003 when she moved to Washington, D.C. The Kelly File focuses on late-breaking news as well as investigative reports and top news stories from around the world. On Jan. 3, 2017, Megyn revealed she would be leaving her 12-year post at Fox News for a new job at NBC.
