Liam Gallagher (born September 21, 1972 in Burnage, Manchester, England) is an English musician. In 1992, along with his brother Noel, Liam started the alt-rock band Oasis. The band went on to be one of the biggest in the 90s, with songs like “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova.” In 2007, the band received the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at the BRIT Awards. After serious in-fighting, especially between Liam and Noel, Oasis broke up in 2009. Liam went on to start the band Beady Eye with other former members of Oasis, though they have not been able to reach the same level of success.

Liam Gallagher has had an infamously difficult relationship with his brother and bandmate, Noel. After constant fighting over the band’s 15-plus years together, Noel was finally driven to quit the band, calling Liam “the angriest man you’ll ever meet.” Liam married Patsy Kensit in 1997, but just months after they wed, Liam had an affair with Lisa Moorish, who eventually gave birth to his child, Molly, in 1998. Liam and Patsy had their own child, Lennon Francis, in 1999 — the couple divorced a year later. Liam has had one other child, Gene, with Nicole Appleton in July 2001. Liam married Nicole in 2008. In July 2013, journalist Liza Ghorbani stated that Liam was the father of her seven-month-old child.
