“I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't do drugs. I shop, okay?”
“I think Angelina Jolie always looks amazing.”
“I’m a homebody. I don’t really like the Hollywood parties, and go out just to be seen. That’s not really me.”
Danielle Fishel (born Danielle Christine Fishel in Mesa, Arizona, in 1981) was bit by the acting bug early on. She participated in several local theater productions — her work in The Wizard of Oz was the stuff of legends — before making her way to Hollywood.
After making guest appearances on shows like Full House, she was cast as Topanga Lawrence on the ABC sitcom, Boy Meets World, an iconic role she played from 1993 to 2000. When the series ended, she moved on to slightly lower-profile jobs, first as a corespondent for the Tyra Banks Show, and then as the host of Style Network’s The Dish. She returned to relevancy in 2012, when news broke that Boy Meets World would be rebooted as Girl Meets World for Disney Channel, with Topanga and co-star, Ben Savage, reprising their roles as grown adults.
Best Known For:
Danielle is best known for playing Topanga Lawrence on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000, a role she will reprise on Disney Channel’s upcoming series Girl Meets World. Danielle also hosted Style Network’s The Dish from 2008 to 2011.
Though Danielle tries to keep her personal life private, she’s been very vocal about her brief fling with now-gay NSYNC member, Lance Bass. She even took him as her date to her high school prom, which is super awkward. Also of note, Danielle was arrested for drunk driving in 2007.
