Daniel Tosh (born Daniel Dwight Tosh on May 29, 1975 in Boppard, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany) is an American comedian, actor, writer, TV host and executive producer. He hosts the show Tosh.0 on Comedy Central, where he comments on viral videos and pop culture. Additionally, Tosh often does comedy tours and specials. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in marketing, Tosh started performing at comedy clubs. In 2001, he performed on Late Show with David Letterman, and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He has had his own specials on Comedy Central, and Tosh.0 premiered in 2009. He currently serves as host and executive producer of Tosh.0.

Tosh grew up in Florida as the son of a Presbyterian minister. Though he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in comedy, he attributes his success to being raised in Florida, which he says is “flat, hot, and dumb”. Tosh has dated model/actress Megan Abrigo.
