Bio:
Corey Hill (born Corey Cornelius Hill on October 3, 1978 in Martinsburg, West Virginia) is an American mixed martial artist. Though born in West Virginia, Corey grew up in Spring Hill, Florida, attending Springstead High School where he was a Florida state champion wrestler. While he attended Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas, he was a two-time National Wrestling Champ, alongside Olympic wrestler and fellow MMA fighter, Daniel Cormier. Corey became a national MMA name when he competed on the fifth season of The Ultimate Fighter reality television competition in 2007. He would ultimately lose in the quarterfinals. But his performance showed great potential, and Corey made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut at UFC Fight Night 12 in 2008. After breaking his leg in 2008, Corey returned in 2010 to win his comeback fight. He had a brief stay with Xtreme Fighting Championships from 2011 to 2012, before making his UFC return in July 2012, defeating Daryl Madison.

Personal Life:
During a December 2008 event, UFC: Fight for the Troops, Corey broke his leg during his fight against Dale Hartt. The injury is considered one of the most gruesome injuries in MMA history. He is married to wife Lauran Hill. The couple has three children – daughter Seytia and sons Keynan and Corey Jr.
