Claire Danes (born Claire Catherine Danes on April 12, 1979 in Manhattan, New York) is an American actress. She has four Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and three Emmys. Claire starred as Angela Chase in the television series My So-Called Life. She has also had roles in the films Little Women, Romeo + Juliet and The Hours. Claire received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in Sept. 2015. She currently stars in the Showtime series Homeland as Carrie Mathison.

Claire dated Australian singer Ben Lee for six years, and actor Billy Crudup for three years. Claire then met actor Hugh Dancy, and they got engaged in 2009 before marrying later that year.
