Alvaro Morata (born Álvaro Borja Morata Martín on October 23, 1992 in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish professional soccer player. A talented soccer player, Alvaro signed for Real Madrid in 2008. Alvaro spent two years with Real Madrid C as a junior. In 2010, after winning two youth titles and scoring 34 goals, Alvaro was promoted to Read Madrid Castilla. He made his debut for the first team in December 2010. He scored his first official goal with Real’s main squad in 2012. He made his first-ever official start in Feb. 2013. Though he became a regular member in the 2013-14 season, he was transferred to Juventus after signing a five-year deal. He made his debut in Serie A in Sep. 2013. He would make his first goal during a 3-0 victory at Atalanta B.C. In Jan. 2015, Alvaro scored the game-winning goal against Parma to help Juve advance to the semi-finals of the Copa Italia. Due to his success, he was nominated for the UEFA Team Of The Year. As an International player, he was part of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship team in 2013. He won the Under-19 Golden Boot in 2011 and Under-21 Golden Boot in 2013.
