Adrian Nicholas Peterson (born in Gainesville, Florida on July 1, 1979) is a former American football player. He was a running back who played for the Chicago Bears, Virginia Destroyers and Seattle Seahawks.

Adrian Nicholas Peterson is best known for playing with the Chicago Bears, and scored several touchdowns over the course of his professional football career.
Personal Life:
Mike Peterson, linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons, is Peterson’s older brother. As an activist, Peterson contributes to his community by doing various service projects in his free time, and helps children who have speech impedients– Peterson himself has one. Furthermore, he runs a children’s football camp once a year, free of charge. In 2012, Peterson released an autobiography titled Don’t Dis My Abilities. It covers his collegiate and professional football career. In February 2015, Peterson and his wife Angela tragically lost their seven-year-old son, A.J., to a battle with cancer.
