Marchesa Spring 2012 Runway: Perfect For Emma Watson & Olivia Wilde!
The collection was definitely more refined, but still filled with that red carpet drama we’ve come to expect from the design duo!
I always look forward to seeing the gorgeous gowns at Marchesa — it’s one of my personal Fashion Week highlights! This year, design duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig switched up the format, opting for a formal runway show rather than a presentation — and with that came more of a muted/metallic color palette and dresses were bound to see on the red carpet! Everyone from Blake Lively to Rachel McAdams are fans of the intricate dresses, and I definitely think they’ll love the latest spring 2012 collection. From fringe to the signature sculpted tulle, some looks were more dramatic than others, but there were also looks that were toned down from their usual over-the-top creations. The sophisticated edge definitely will be appreciated by their celeb following — and I think Emma Watson and Olivia Wilde have just what it takes to make this collection really pop!
