There will be plenty of excitement when the biggest music stars from around the world all gather at the O2 arena in London on Feb. 24. From the best dressed beauties to the amazing performances, the action kicks off at 3 P.M. EST for those fans in the U.S., but you don’t need to be British to watch. The Brit Awards are going to be packed with some incredible performances. When Adele takes the stage, hopefully she won’t suffer another embarrassment like she did at the 2016 Grammys. Even with technical difficulties, the “Hello” singer managed to slay. Plus, she has the most Brit awards nominations, so she may walk away from the awards show with arms full of gold.
Justin Bieber isn’t British, but the 21-year-old Canadian singer will rock the audience as if he was born in Liverpool or Sunderland. The show will also have performances from Coldplay, James Bay, 25, Little Mix and The Weeknd, 26. Rihanna, 28, is scheduled to perform, but after pulling out of the Grammys, will she show up?
Sadly, One Direction won’t change their minds and appear at the Brit Awards. Harry Styles, 22, Liam Payne, 22, Niall Horan, 22, and new-daddy Louis Tomlinson, 24 – are nominated in two categories: British Group and British Video for “Drag Me Down.” 1D said they’re not going as a group, since they’re on hiatus. But Liam and Louis will be there. Liam even posted a shirtless selfie hours before the show, saying he was “off to party #britawards2016.”
While the Brit Awards will miss the boys of 1D, they’ll still have plenty of star power. Kate Moss, 42, will be on hand as part of a rumored supergroup, per the Mirror, that’ll pay tribute to the life and legacy of the late David Bowie. Will it top Lady Gaga‘s, 29, holographic tribute at the Grammys? Which of Britain’s best will honor one of their favorite fallen sons? We’ll have to watch to find out.
