Jennette McCurdy & Ariana Grande Feud — Truth Behind Their Fallout Revealed

The starlet spoke to Entertainment Weekly and revealed something that fans will be happy to hear: she and Ariana don’t actually hate each other at all. While rumors swirled that their on-set sparring was actually what caused Sam & Cat to end, it’s far from the truth.

“She just gave me a book recommendation that I’m almost done with,” Jennette said. “And then we text probably like once a week to kind of catch up and see what’s going on.”

The best friends may deal with some sisterly quarrels, but it’s nothing more than what any other friends go through from time to time. In fact, they’re tighter than ever. That’s good to hear. We know that Ariana’s been going through a lot right now — balancing a superstar music career with a blowout breakup from 27-year-old Big Sean has to be hard; having a BFF to lean on helps.

And Ari is just as supportive of Jennette’s blossoming acting career. She’s starring in the new Netflix thriller Between, and Ari said she told Jennette “she can’t wait to watch it.”

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Ariana has been surrounding herself with friends since her split with Big Sean, including Jennette and her Scream Queens costar, Lea Michele, 28. Lea has been a big source of comfort for Ari while they’re filming their show. And she showed it with a cute selfie that she posted of the twosome, where they were all cuddles and huge smiles.
