It’s going to be hard to find anyone more excited about the birth of Zonnique Pullins‘ little bundle of joy than her mother, TamekaTiny” Harris! Tiny, 45, absolutely gushed about becoming a first-time grandmother on Instagram, congratulating her eldest child over the birth of her darling baby. “Congratulations to my first [love] my LuvBug [Zonnique],” Tiny wrote. “My Gbaby is so fat & cute!! Just as I dreamed she would be!! I told y’all today was a very blessed day straight from God!”

Tiny was incredibly involved in her 24-year-old daughter’s pregnancy, lending her lots of love and support through the nine-month journey. Zonnique even told HollywoodLife during an EXCLUSIVE interview that Tiny helped her pick out names for the little one. “My mom has definitely been coming up with some names,” she excitedly said during an August 2020 episode of HollywoodLife TV Talk. “My mom loves everything about this process, but she loves giving names out. She prides herself on our names, all of her children. She’s like, ‘I’m definitely the best with names,’ so I’m definitely looking towards my mom with that.”

Zonnique also recalled the moment she broke the exciting news to her mother that she and boyfriend Bandhunta Izzy (real name Israel James) were expecting their first child. “I wasn’t really so nervous to tell my mom because I talk to my mom about everything and I was really comfortable talking to my mom,” she said. Step-father T.I. was a different story. She surprised him with the news during a taping of her FOX Soul show, The Mix. He was shocked, to say the least!

The T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle star, who just dropped two new songs — “Winner” and “#FTCU” — is extremely close to her mother. Zonnique told HollywoodLife that Tiny gives the best advice. “I definitely don’t always listen to her, especially now being older and being more confident in myself and what I really like,” Zonnique explained. “I do really appreciate her input because she’s been there from the beginning. She’s watched me grow. So her opinion is always very valid to me.”
