Soon we’ll find out who the Last Jedi is, but have you ever considered that it’s YOU? Test your knowledge and take our quiz to find out. And, as always, may the Force be with you!
Are you as excited for Star Wars: The Last Jedi as we are? We’re pretty desperate to find out what the title actually means, and what Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) has been up to while living in isolation on Ahch-To. We know that he’s training Rey (Daisy Ridley) to hone her skills, as the badass lightsaber sequences from the trailer suggest. And, as established during Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he already had a powerful student who got a little too powerful in his nephew, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). So who’s the last Jedi? Or, should we say, who are the last Jedi? It’s pretty up in the air at this point, so chances are it could totally be you. Scroll down to take the quiz!
Let’s talk about what/who a Jedi actually is. The Jedi are Force-sensitive people who study and serve the Force and use the Force — hopefully for good, on the light side, who use lightsabers to fight and protect. The Jedi are an ancient order, going back thousands of years. In Star Wars, it’s told that there used to be 10,000 Jedi in the galaxy before the Clone Wars. At the end of the war, the Sith slaughtered them using Order 66. At this point, it’s considered that Luke is the only remaining Jedi (hence Episode 8’s title).
But will he really be the last? It’s implied that Rey will become a Jedi because she was drawn to Luke’s missing Lightsaber at Maz Kanata’s tavern on Takodana. It gave her visions and ultimately helped her fight Kylo Ren and find Luke on Ahch-To. We can’t wait to see if she — or you — has what it takes to follow in Luke’s footsteps!
