Families have been in a state of panic as they anxiously search for information about their loved ones suspected of being in the area of the London Bridge Attack for a fun Saturday night out. The photos will absolutely break your heart.
Friends and relatives have mounted social media campaigns to find any information they can about their missing loved ones, who might have been victims of the horrific London Bridge Attack. Asya Mustafa‘s family have been in worried sick since the 16 year-old has not been heard from. She was expected to back to her home near London Bridge around 9pm, around that time a white van crashed into a crowd on the bridge and three men started stabbing people in in the area. Victims, many of whom were young people enjoying their Saturday night in bars and restaurants, were immediately rushed to hospitals and 48 were counted as seriously injured. Tragically seven have been confirmed dead and 12 have been arrested in connection with the attack.
“My niece Asya Mustafa was on route home to London Bridge and we haven’t heard from her,” her aunt wrote in an anxious Facebook post. “Please keep her in your prayers and if anyone has seen or spoken to her and knows she is ok let us know…Please share everyone we are besides ourselves.” Oliver Dowling, 32, from New Zealand was stabbed in the face, but miraculously his sister announced he is expected to make a full recovery. His girlfriend Marie Bondeville‘s condition has not been revealed.
Australia-native Candice Hedge was grabbing an after work drink in a bar when one of the attackers came up behind her, grabbed her head, and slashed her throat! She’s already let people know she’s alright with a Facebook post. “Hey everyone, just so you know I’m doing Ok. Bit of pain but I will survive. Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes. Love to all,” she shared. Geoff Ho has already been hailed as one of the heroes of the attack. People began frantically searching for him after a video was shared of him holding his bleeding neck in the streets.
He apparently thought there was a bar brawl in the streets and rushed to stop one of the attackers. “Don’t know whether it was stupid or noble to jump in and break up the fight outside the Southwark Tavern, but two a—s trying to do over the lone bouncer on the door isn’t happening on my watch,” he wrote on Twitter just minutes before he was stabbed.
