Whoopsie! While Fifth Harmony debuted their brand new single, Normani Kordei slipped and fell flat on her face on live television. Thankfully the singer is A-okay and taking the fall in stride. Watch the video here.
Normani Kordei, 21, was so excited to perform Fifth Harmony‘s new single that she couldn’t keep herself up. No, really! New video from the group’s performance on Good Morning America on Friday, June 2, shows Normani doing some serious floor work with the other three members. However, when it was time for them to get back up on their feet, Normani’s shoe slipped and her whole body went flat on the stage. Eek! But being the total pro that she is, Normani quickly rolled over and slowly stood up as if it was all part of the choreography. Clever, Normani! We love it!
“LEAVE IT TO NORMANI TO EAT THE STAGE PERFORMING ON @GMA,” the singer and former Dancing With The Stars contestant tweeted once she was off the stage. “THE FIRST LOOK FOR OUR NEW SINGLE. HELLA WENT DOWNN 💀😅🙊 IM DEADDDDD AAKZJZKA lmao.” Not only did she laugh at herself for the fall, but she even RT’d a video of the moment which was originally caught on camera by a fan. We love that Normani has a sense of humor about this slip up! She may have gone “Down”, but she still rocked it out for the crowd.
“Down” is the first single from 5H since Camila Cabello, 20, decided to part ways with the group and go solo. As a foursome, Fifth Harmony took the GMA stage and performed all of their hits — including “Work From Home” — without her, and it definitely seems they’ve found their new groove.
