Liam Payne’s first solo music video is finally here! ‘Strip That Down’ dropped today, June 2, and we can’t think of a better way to kick off the weekend. Watch him and Quavo show off their sick moves!
Liam Payne, 23, dances around for approximately four glorious minutes in the new music video for “Strip That Down,” which is a jam and a half. Quavo, 26, holds his own during his feature, too! Of course, this song made waves due to the lines about leaving One Direction (You know, I used to be in 1D [now I’m out, free]/People want me for one thing [that’s not me]) but no matter where you stand on that, you have to admit it’s one of the songs of the summer. Watch the visual above!
The video actually leaked in the 24 hours leading up to the official release, and Liam tweeted an apology to fans, who were freaking out over the false alarm when it was taken down shortly after. “Sorry guys someone leaked the video, it will be live again at 7.30pm BST look forward to you seeing it then!” he wrote. Worth the wait!

“I’ve been working hard in the studio for over a year and I’m really excited to share this new music with my amazing fans,” Liam said about “Strip That Down.” “I’ve come a long way since our One Direction debut and I hope everyone likes my new sound as much as I do. 2017 has been a big year for me already and I’m looking forward to what the rest of it will bring.” Album, please!
