If you’re weeping because advanced tickets sales for Weekend 1 of Coachella 2018 — where Beyonce will be performing — are already sold out, don’t fret! There’s still a chance for you to see her live in concert at the biggest music festival of the year. Find out how, here!
OMG! Weekend 1 passes for Coachella 2018 were sold out in less than two hours after they became available on June 2, and Twitter users started freaking out immediately (see their tweets below). But don’t worry — this was just the advanced ticket sale period, so even if you don’t snag Weekend 2 passes while they’re available, there’s still a chance for you to see Beyonce live in concert next year. Confused? Let us explain…
The advance tickets sale is the only one to offer a layaway plan, one in which you can pay for the tickets in seven installments. And that one’s now sold out — well, Weekend 1 is. So while you can no longer purchase tickets with a payment plan for that weekend, there will be another sale once the full lineup is announced. At this point, we only know Beyonce is headlining, as she cancelled her spot at the 2017 festival and rescheduled for 2018 due to her pregnancy.
The 2018 festival will be held over two weekends next spring — April 13 to April 15 and April 20 to April 22. General admission passes were priced at $429, while VIP festival passes are $999. Both prices are an increase over last year’s show. It’s not clear if Beyonce’s presence has anything to do with that or not. Click here to see pics from Coachella 2017!
