Well, this is interesting. Kylie Jenner’s current squeeze, Travis Scott, has cast James Harden — AKA Khloe Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend — as his video star for ‘Way Back.’ What is going on?! Watch!
Travis Scott, 25, is clearly not too concerned about making waves with Kylie Jenner, 19, and her fam! Travis employed James Harden, 27, for his video/short film “Way Back,” and the visual dropped on May 31. It’s for a song from Travis’ 2016 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, but Khloe Kardashian, 32, definitely split from James by the time the video was filmed, meaning that Travis might not have been thinking of his new GF Kylie and her sister’s feelings!
In the visual, we see the NBA star playing an, uh, one-on-one basketball game with himself. Travis actually gives James a shoutout in the song (I need fake n****s to get way back/James Harden with the range on me n***a way back) so it makes sense to have him in the video, but still. Also, are we even going to talk about James hanging upside down and rapping Travis’ lines? And who let that small child behind the wheel of that convertible? Watch it above!

“I did this for a project I did in Houston a while ago,” Travis, who also appears toward the end of the video, tweeted. Fans’ responses to the video have been mixed. “Video looks like it should be an Adidas commercial,” one person complained. “One of the best in the game idc what yall say,” another disagreed. Travis has also released visuals for “Goosebumps,” “Pick Up the Phone” and “Beibs in the Trap” recently, but this one certainly catches our eye more than the others.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Travis and James collaborating for “Way Back?” Tell us in the comments how you feel about all this!
