While it’s no surprise Luna Stephens loves her daddy John Legend, we ARE surprised by how it affects Chrissy Teigen! Admitting her daughter doesn’t like her cooking, but will eat anything John feeds her, the model joked that she actually DOES take it personally. Watch her explain here!
Chrissy Teigen, 31, may be a seasoned chef with one hit cookbook on the market and a second one in the works, but even SHE has trouble getting her baby daughter Luna Simone Stephens, 1, to eat. “She will not eat my pure food,” Chrissy told Rachael Ray, 48, for the May 19 episode of her talkshow The Rachael Ray Show. “If I try to steam green beans and puree them, she will not eat that. She’s the kind of baby that loves those little squeezy snacks and it goes right in her mouth….She loves my mom’s scalloped potatoes, she loves real food, but she will not eat my own food, which kind of breaks my heart in a way.”
But while Chrissy apparently doesn’t have the magic touch when it comes to feeding Luna, her husband John Legend, 38, is a completely different story! We already knew little Luna was a daddy’s girl, but THIS kind of takes their sweet relationship to a whole new adorable level. “If John feeds her, she’ll be like, ‘Da da! Da da!’ and she’ll eat anything. Moms, you know, there is just no getting around it. They just love their daddy,” Chrissy said. “…It’s sad, I take it personally.” Aw, Chrissy! We know Luna loves her mom too, but even John can’t deny his and his daughter’s cute connection.
“My wife’s a little bit jealous,” John told People mag in March while revealing he and Chrissy want to have a son next. “We’ve got to have a boy too, so she can feel that same feeling.” Catch Chrissy’s full interview with Rachael on Friday May 19. Click here to see when it’s on in your area.
