It’s official! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be making a splash at Pippa Middleton’s wedding as a couple, but there’s some fine print to the big date night we need to share.
Prince Harry, 32, can’t wait to show off his romance with girlfriend Meghan Markle, 35, on May 20 when his sister-in-law’s sister, Pippa Middleton, 33, and James Matthews, 41, marry, reports Us Weekly. However, due to some technicalities, Meghan will only be able to attend part of Pippa’s big day. Don’t worry, HollywoodLifers — we’ll explain!
The catch is that Pippa’s wedding ceremony invite only allows guests to bring spouses, fiances and family members. Since Meghan and Prince Harry are not engaged (ahem, yet) she doesn’t get to attend the ceremony along with him and the family. Thankfully though, Meghan will meet up with her prince and his family, including Kate Middleton and Prince William, for the wedding reception!
Meghan’s attendance at Pippa’s wedding is a pretty big deal, because not only is it a family affair but it technically counts as a royal function. Prince Harry’s niece and nephew, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will both be part of Pippa’s bridal party as a page boy and a bridesmaid, respectively. So sweet!
In March 2017, Meghan and Prince Harry attended another wedding as a couple. Prince Harry brought Megan to the caribbean for his friend’s wedding where they were spotted holding hands, flirting and looking very much in love. Of course that wedding was much more laid back than Pippa’s will be, but we still can’t wait to see the stunning photos of Meghan and Prince Harry together!
