Every tribal this season has been insane, but this week may have topped it. After another tribe swap, some people who hadn’t stepped into tribal yet this season had to light their fire — and one player didn’t make it out.
This is pretty crazy — first thing first, what was that moment like, seeing your name written down?
Sandra: I kind of saw it coming, I was prepared for it. I did everything I could possibly do about it. I had a conversation with Ozzy like, “Let me be your number one. I’ll take care of you, if you’ll take care of me now. They’re gonna come after you.” I thought it was hook, line, and sinker. He told me, “You’re not going nowhere, its Tai.” I honestly believe Aubry was afraid of Tai. If that was the case, if Tai pulled out his idol, there was a potential for Ozzy to go home.
Why do you think you lasted as long as you did? I’ve been asking people every week why they kept you and they said because you’re so sweet!
Sandra: I am! I got a bad reputation this time around for a lot of reasons. I’m the sweetest person, but when you screw me, it’s over. I’m not a nasty person. Everybody that has met me can tell you, I’m a nice, good person! I have a heart. I’m a human being. I love each and everyone of those people.
Going in, you knew you’d have a hard time not getting eliminated right away.
I knew that I would be a target. There was always the potential for me to be voted off. I knew I had the numbers, though. My husband told me before I went on, “They’re going do to you what you do to them — vote you out and not care about it. It only makes sense.” So yeah, I was really really prepared. But the fact that I went to five out of six tribal councils, is crazy! I was always in the right place. My game only failed me when I picked that buff.
Do you have any regrets?
Sandra: No, there’s not one thing I would have done differently, other than pick another Buff. Had I been on Mana, we would have outnumbered Culpepper, Cirie and whoever else. There’s no telling how fair I would have gone.
HollywoodLifers, were you bummed to see Sandra go home or was it time?
