Greice Santo, who has a recurring role on The CW’s Jane The Virgin, is throwing out some serious accusations about NHL owner Daryl Katz, who she claims offered her millions of dollars and a movie role in exchange for sex, according to NY Daily News.
In a defamation lawsuit filed Monday in New York, Greice claims she was “lured” to the hotel room of the Canadian billionaire who owns the Edmonton Oilers on two separate occasions, as he promised to “help her acting career.”
She turned him down, but apparently, she still received “two wire transfers totaling $35,000.”
“This is so common, but most girls and women — they are afraid of coming out,” Greice told HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site Variety. “I feel like me coming out will give courage and inspire so many girls who go through the same thing I go through.”
Greice claims her conversation with an intoxicated Daryl took place in 2015, when she was participating in a photo shoot for Viva Glam magazine, according to Variety. “Katz said he could put me in a big role that would change my life and then switched the conversation and said he rather give me money,” she wrote in the defamation suit.
Greice claims Daryl then said, “I’m talking about millions… This would help your family and help you so you won’t struggle.” Apparently, when Greice asked what Katz would want in exchange, he allegedly said, “I’m looking for companionship and sex.”
Later, when Greice’s husband tried settling the situation, she was reportedly offered a “three picture deal” in order to keep quiet about Daryl’s alleged sex offers.
