Jamal and Cookie are dishing out some harsh truths. HollywoodLife.com has an EXCLUSIVE preview of the April 5 episode that features Jamal and Cookie getting real with each other about their relationships! Watch now!
Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) walks in on an intimate moment between Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and D-Major (Tobias Truvillion) in our EXCLUSIVE sneak peek. Cookie flips out because she thinks D-Major was Jamal’s enabler when he was doing drugs and demands to know what’s up. “I know, but the fool came out for me,” Jamal says in the EXCLUSIVE preview. “I know it was stupid or whatever on social media, but he feels really exposed right now. You don’t know what that feels like.”
Cookie follows up with her usual sass, “I don’t give a damn about his feelings. You better dump his a** before you lose Philip.” That’s where Jamal draws the line.
“How about you drop dad before you lose Angelo?” Jamal snaps back. SLAY! Play Cookie at her own game, Jamal. Cookie ignores Jamal and moves on from the conversation. Since they’re both in some tight positions in regards to their love lives, they agree to worry about their own dirty laundry. Seriously, Cookie needs to get Lucious under control. They still haven’t really moved forward after that bloody fight at the Empire offices.
On the April 5 episode of Empire, Angelo (Taye Diggs) makes a shocking discovery and is concerned that Cookie’s past isn’t in the past and will hurt his chances of becoming mayor. Meanwhile, Anika (Grace Byers) is faced with a big decision after Tariq (Morocco Omari) reveals what he is really after. Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) is also celebrating his 21st birthday, but things don’t exactly go as planned. Empire airs Wednesday, April 5, at 9:00 p.m. on FOX.
