Luke Bryan truly is the host with the most! The country singer slayed his performance of ‘Fast’ at the Academy of Country Music Awards and we can’t stop swooning.
Luke Bryan, 40, can really do it all. The country heartthrob took over the Academy of Country Music Awards stage in Las Vegas to give a stunning performance of his hit “Fast.” Oh, and did we mention he is also the host of the evening? There’s just no denying this man is perfect.
Surrounded by dimmed lightbulbs, mirrors and a blacked out stage, Luke rocked out on his acoustic to his reminiscent song “Fast” from the album Kill The Lights. Just earlier in the night, he showed off his sweet dance moves in the opening number with his other hit, “Move.”
Luke reunited with Dierks Bentley to co-host the ACMs for the pair’s second year in a row. The comedic duo covered everything from politics to booze throughout the show and the audience was loving it. Prior to the ACM Awards, the two revealed they were not planning to prep for their hosting gig and joked to the Las Vegas Review, “We’ll drink our way through it. There’s a backstage bar set up to take care of any worries!” We’re thinking this won’t be the last time these two are on the ACM Awards stage together!
In addition to their individual performances, the co-hosts still had more surprises up their sleeves! Dierks and Luke gave the world an incredible performance — teaming up with the legendary Joe Walsh to honor Chuck Barry with a rocking collab of the late rocker’s song “Johnny B. Goode.”
Dierks also performed with fellow country artist Cole Swindell and the pair performed their hit “Flatliner.”
