When the hottest country duo pairs up with the hottest pop group, magic happens. That’s what happened at the 2017 ACM Awards when Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line came together on stage.
Backstreet Boys took a break from their Las Vegas tour to head down the road to join Florida Georgia Line on stage at the ACM Awards on April 2, for an epic performance of “God, Your Mama, and Me.” While it was absolutely perfect, the whole crowd — yes, every single person — absolutely freaked out when they then broke out into “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
Here’s part of the performance:

Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were just a few of the stars spotted completely freaking out, singing along and dance. The guys — both BSB and FGL even did that famous dance!
Of course, we’re not too surprised that it was such an amazing performance. The video was recently released for “God, Your Mama, & Me,” featuring the wives, girlfriends, and families, of all five Backstreet Boys and both members of Florida Georgia Line.
The song is part of H.O.L.Y., Florida Georgia Line’s third album, which includes a ton of collaborations, including with Tim McGraw and Ziggy Marley. The Backstreet Boys are currently working on their tenth album, and recently announced that they’ll be joining Florida Georgia Line for three stops on their Smooth Tour — Fenway Park in Boston on July 7, Target Field in Minneapolis on July 29 and Wrigley Field in Chicago on Aug. 12. Nelly and Chris Lane are also on the tour with Florida Georgia Line.
“This whole album [Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots] was about FGL kind of going back to their roots and paying homage to the artists and songs that inspired them, and the fact that they reached out to us — we are a group that inspired them to do what they do, and that’s really cool,” BSB’s Kevin Richardson told Billboard. “And those guys are great guys. We’re blessed.”
