Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, and their two young daughters were spotted having tons of fun at a Miami zoo on March 18, getting the chance to meet alligators, sloths, and so many more animals! We have details about their family outing here!
It was a family fun day for Ryan Gosling, 36, and Eva Mendes, 43, when they escaped from La La Land to take their two daughters to the ultra cool Jungle Island zoo in Miami on March 18. The family of four are rarely spotted out in public together, and they made the most of their Florida vacation by taking the opportunity to do something truly amazing: meet some animals up close and personal!
Ryan and Eva’s young daughters, Esmeralda Gosling, 2, and newborn Amada Gosling, were all about the chance to meet cuddly and crawly creatures like alligators (they fed one!), sloths, lemurs, a Capuchin monkey, and even a pot-bellied pig — oh, my! The lucky family enjoyed a private tour at the famed Miami zoo, called the Ultimate Jungle Trek Tour, which allowed them to see behind the scenes at the wildlife park, according to E! News. Animal lovers and nerds are going to freak out over this one: they were able to meet one of the only tamed cassowaries (a rare, large, flightless bird) in the world!
The family’s in Miami for the launch of Eva’s Spring collection for New York & Company. She made her first public appearance in six months, looking like an absolute goddess in a $99 turquoise dress from the collection. Ryan was nowhere to be found at the event, and we suspect he was hanging out back at the hotel with their little girls!
The two aren’t seen frequently together, but it’s not because there’s trouble in their relationship — their zoo trip definitely proves that. Eva explained after she was absent from the Oscars on February 26, where Ryan was nominated for La La Land, that she just prefers to be home with their daughters instead of doing red carpets now. Ryan supports that!
