The ‘Game Changers’ can handle anything right? Let’s hope so! It was only episode two, but Jeff Probst had everyone drop their buffs — but he also added a third tribe, which changed everything.
The new Survivor tribes were Nuku, Mana, and Tavua, which meant old bonds were done and new ones were formed. That also meant people like J.T. and Troyzan, who were now without their allies, began a crazy idol search. And Troy was successful in finding a clue. It told him that there would be an idol hidden at the challenge.
J.T. and Malcolm captured two goats to try and feed their tribe, but then they all realized they had a conscious. They quickly found out that they had caught a baby goat, then its mama, since it wasn’t leaving the baby. Sandra seemed to be the one who was actually considering killing them, but luckily the group was not letting that happen. They ended up freeing them. Honestly, not sure any of us could watch that go down.
The challenge this week included three stages, the last being a puzzle — that idol was under the puzzle table which everyone was watching so it wasn’t easy to grab it. Luckily, they ended up winning safety so when they group was hugging, J.T. pretended to be tired, bending over and grabbing it. Nuku and Tavua were both safe, but Mana lost, which meant a third tribal trip for Caleb and Hali. They were also the only newbies coming to an already determined group, so they were the targets.
Tai obviously was working hard to keep Caleb, which was a good thing and a bad thing since everyone could tell there was a pre-made alliance. So, should they get rid of Caleb or Hali? With them both being strong members of the team in different ways, everyone seemed torn. Unfortunately, he seemed like too much of a threat and was sent home. The odd thing? This was the same time in the season he was medically evacuated from his season.
HollywoodLifers, are you bummed to see Caleb go?
