And so it begins. In this preview of the next episode of ‘The Walking Dead’, Rick and Michonne go looking for the weapons they’ll need to take on Negan.

On Sunday, March 5, things get intense for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) on a brand new episode of The Walking Dead. In another episode leading up to the season seven finale, which airs April 2, the apocalyptic power couple begin the search for guns so that they can wage war on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and The Saviors.

In this preview, Rick and Michonne come upon an old high school where they find a walker dressed in military gear. The best part? He’s got a rifle strapped to his back, which is a sight for Rick’s sore eyes. “Guns like that? That’s why we’re out here,” he tells Michonne, before they take the walker out and claim his weapons.

On the other side of the fence Rick discovers a bunch of empty shells, and Michonne points out the obvious: that something very bad happened at that school. Rick agrees but he’s also inspired by their find, so he starts moving in on the school and, of course, Michonne follows.

Hopefully this is just the beginning for Rick and Michonne, as they are in desperate need of fire power. Negan and The Saviors have all of their weapons, so not only do they need to replenish their own stock but they also promised the Scavengers guns. If they don’t find enough to please the Scavengers then they won’t fight with them, and Rick knows he desperately needs their group if he wants even the tiniest chance at beating Negan.

Make sure you tune on Sunday, March 5, to find out whether or not Rick and Michonne find more weapons on The Walking Dead. And don’t forget that the season seven finale is on April 2!
