Oh, no! It’s almost time for another season of ‘The Walking Dead’ to come to an end and, as usual, no one is safe. Here’s when you can expect to be biting your nails during the season 7 finale!
We did it. We survived yet another harrowing season of The Walking Dead, which featured some excruciating deaths thanks to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). But now, The Walking Dead‘s seventh season is coming to an end on Sunday, April 2, at 9pm ET on AMC. Eek!
Right now, it’s pretty unclear where the seventh season will bring us as far as an ending goes. Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group has finally decided to fight back against Negan and his goons (aka The Saviors). However, it’s extremely unlikely we’ll get to see that war unfold before season seven ends, especially since Rick and his group still have so much work to do. After all, they promised the landfill survivors guns — lots of guns — and they still have to convince King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) to let the Kingdom fight with them.
Plus, it seems we’ve lost Eugene (Josh McDermitt) to the dark side. Or have we? It’s safe to assume that while Eugene is definitely important to Rick and the group, rescuing him has taken a back seat to destroying Negan and crippling the empire he’s built for himself at the Sanctuary. As we saw in episode 11, Eugene made himself right at home inside the Sanctuary and even declared himself “Negan” just like a Savior would, though it’s still unclear if he’s just playing along or not. Hmm, what would Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) think?
