Fresh off her sparkling princess fashion moment, Kate Middleton returned to one of her favorite looks: a blue tweed Rebecca Taylor suit — but rather than recycle a former look, she simply served up a brand new version of a blue tweed ensemble we’ve definitely seen before. It looks like Kate loves to keep us guessing!
Kate Middleton, 35, has been on a seriously stellar style roll, totally switching up her look and leaving us guessing as she pushes the envelope with her fashion choices — and she rocked one of the best looks we’ve ever seen on the Duchess when she stepped out at Buckingham Palace on Feb. 27, clad in a sparkling Erdem frock and glittering Oscar de la Renta shoes. She sparkled from head-to-toe and we were obsessed with her formal outfit, but it wasn’t long before she swapped her evening look for a more appropriate ensemble for during the day when she stepped out at the the opening of the Ronald McDonald House Evelina London on Feb. 28 to tour the facility and unveil a plaque.
Kate Middleton’s Royal Tour Of Canada — All Her Outfits
Kate stepped out in a familiar look as she suited up in a gorgeous tweed Rebecca Taylor outfit. The effortlessly stylish royal relied on one of her fave fashion staples — but not so fast! Although it looks like she recycled an outfit we originally saw on Kate in 2012, there’s actually a plot twist: she’s wearing an entirely new, yet remarkably similar, look.
We first noticed Kate’s affinity for blue tweed when she rocked a nearly identical version of the outfit to a reception in London in April 2012. Then, she took the trend a step further when she suited up in a M Missoni blue tweed dress in June 2012. While a tweed suit is incredibly classic and chic, we’re definitely seeing a resurgence of both suiting and tweed, and Kate is serving up endless style inspiration with her latest look. While we were so quick to say the royal recycler strikes again, this time the joke is on us — and we have to hand it to Kate: she certainly knows how to get our attention.
