Slay, Cookie! Taraji P. Henson looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, rocking a long, black gown that is totally out of this world.
Taraji P. Henson, 46, came to the 2017 Oscars wearing what might be one of her best looks yet. The custom Alberta Ferretti black velvet gown featured a seriously deep V-neck in the front, with off-the-shoulder cuff sleeves. The dress was cinched tightly at the waist showing off Taraji’s beautiful curves, and then flowed down to the ground. Oh, and how could we forget to mention that sexy thigh-high slit? Yes, girl!
This is a huge night for Taraji, too, whose film Hidden Figures is up for multiple Academy Awards. Although Taraji isn’t nominated for her role, the film is nominated for Best Picture and Best Writing Adapted Screenplay. Taraji’s co-star, Octavia Spencer, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress, too!
She might not be nominated this year, but Taraji was once nominated for an Oscar in 2009. It was for her work in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which starred Brad Pitt, and she received a nod for Best Supporting Actor. With all of this incredible work under her belt, Taraji is sure to have a gold Oscar in her future!
