Is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain worried about Perrie Edwards writing a songs about him? The soccer star’s response is hilarious!
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, has no worries about his girlfriend and Little Mix member Perrie Edwards, 23, singing future tracks about him. The Arsensal soccer played laughed the possibility when he spoke to U.K.’s The Sun. “I better watch out! I don’t want her to become an ex and sing about me,” he joked, “Probably something about Arsenal being rubbish. I better look after her.”
It’s good to see Alex does not bring Perrie’s past relationships into their’s. He had a good sense of humor and laughed off the possibility of Perrie writing anything nasty about him. The couple are clearly super into each other and it’s nice to see them focusing on the positive. The two just went public as an official couple a few weeks back when Perrie posted a sweet photo of the them kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower. So romantic!
Little Mix have had quite a bit of success out of dissing their exes. The girls won big at the BRIT Awards and even opened the show with their hit “Shout Out To My Ex.” Perrie Edwards’s famous ex Zayn Malik, who’s now dating model Gigi Hadid, did not attend the event. Little Mix Member Jade Thirlwall even thanked the girls’ exes when they won for British Single.
“Cheers to our exes! This is for you lads!” she told the audience as fellow members Perrie, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson laughed on. Gotta love a bit of girl power! Perrie definitely knows how to stick it to her exes. In Little Mix’s song “Touch” she sings, “I feel like for the first time I am not faking.” Ouch!
