Check this out! Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze fought it out in an old-fashioned marathon beat battle that you just have to get the details on!
This is beyond impressive! Swizz Beatz, 38, and Just Blaze, 39, entered into an epic beat battle on Friday, Feb. 24 in an insane Instagram Live. The two renown producers went back-and-forth for over two and half hours! The guys did it just for some healthy competition and to have fun. That’s so cool!
Swizz showed everyone as things were being set up and explained there would be “no pre-made beats.” That’s hard! They would have to be super creative to keep the beat going, but these guys are the best of the best. Swizz participated in a beat battle back in 2007 with Kanye West, 39, at Summer Jam. The battle was too close to call and many people said it was a tie.
Swizz has a pretty incredible track record including “Money, Cash, Hoes” by Jay Z, “Bring Em Out” by T.I., “Fancy” by Drake, and “untitled 07” by Kendrick Lamar. Just Blaze has had some hits of his own over the years like Joe Budden’s “Pump It Up,” “Public Service Announcement,” for Jay Z, Drake’s “Lord Knows,” and Beyoncé’s “Freedom.”
Besides having a stellar professional career, Swizz has been married to Alicia Keys, 36, since 2010. The couple have two kids together Egypt Daoud Dean and Genesis Ali Dean. Already Egypt is following in his parents musical footsteps. The 6 year-old wrote and performed his very own song called “Super Boy” and it was obviously super cute and amazing. Swizz was defintely having a proud papa moment. Can you blame him? He captioned the video of Egypt playing, “Proud Dad Alert 🚨😂 Egy wrote his 1st song Super-boy🙌🏽 wait for the fancy fingers at the end 😂 Kids you gotta love em💗🎹 #Dedication #hardwork 👏🏽 EGY-Keys-Beatz.” So sweet!
