Bring your tissues to Austin! ‘This Is Us,’ which recently was just renewed for seasons two and three bye NBC, is heading to the ATX Television Festival this summer. The festival also announced a cast reunion of the ‘thirtysomething’ cast!
This Is Us cast members Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore will be joined by NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke, executive producer Ken Olin, and creator/executive producer Dan Fogelman, for a panel at season six of the Austin TV Festival, set for June 8-11.
Along with This Is Us, the festival just announced they will also host a 30-year reunion of the series thirtysomething featuring cast members Ken Olin, Patricia Wettig, Peter Horton, Melanie Mayron, Timothy Busfield, and David Clennon, many of whom has directed episodes, and directed and produced other projects since.
The Comeback‘s producers and cast will also be reunited this year; a panel with co-creator, executive producer and star Lisa Kudrow, o-creator/executive producer Michael Patrick King, cast member and executive producer Dan Bucatinsky; and cast member Laura Silverman will all be in Texas, along with additional cast to be announced at a later date.
These are just the latest announcements as ATX previously revealed they’ll be having an Alias writers’ room reunion including Ken Olin, Lawrence Trilling, Sarah Caplan, Jeff Pinkner, André Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, and Monica Breen, a Grace and Frankie panel, a Designing Women 30th anniversary panel, and a Northern Exposure panel. You can find the whole lineup and find out how to get tickets at the website.
Additionally, for the first time there will not be a Friday Night Lights community event, but instead a Parks and Recreation screening along with an event inspired by Pawnee’s annual Harvest Festival.
