Yes, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have been approved by the Benton County, Arkansas court to adopt yet again, according to a Nov. 30 Life & Style report. A judge has awarded the 19 Kids and Counting stars “permanent guardianship” of an 8-year-old boy, according to legal docs obtained by the mag. Wow! The child’s mother is Michelle’s niece Rachel Hutchins — who reportedly ran into trouble with the law and had financial setbacks — and the judge has ruled that she is “incapable” of caring for her son, though she is allowed to have supervised visits with him. Enter the Duggars, who have welcomed the boy into their family with open arms! “Jim Bob and Michelle have made the child feel right at home. They treat him like their own and he looks up to them as parents,” a source spills. Pretty amazing that they’ve managed to keep it a secret!
The boy has been living with Jim Bob and Michelle “for some time now,” the insider also tells the mag, which hasn’t revealed his name. “The Duggar children have made him feel very welcome,” the source adds. Good to hear it!
“Jim Bob and Michelle couldn’t be happier right now,” the source insists. We’re sure they’re ecstatic at being named legal guardians for the boy — the only thing the Duggars love more than kids is…more kids. Of course, 19 Kids and Counting was canceled in 2015, so the only chance to see the newest Duggar addition is on social media. We’ll keep a look out!
