13 is an unlucky number for some NFL teams entering Week 13 of the 2016 season. The struggling Minnesota Vikings play the red-hot Dallas Cowboys while the Los Angeles Rams have to deal with the New England Patriots. There is so much action going on. Click to find out.
The entire state of Texas should be thankful for Dak Prescott. The 23-year-old rookie quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys led the team to a 31-26 victory over the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving, according to Sports Illustrated.
Washington managed to stop running back Ezekiel Elliot, 21, for half the game (limiting him to his second under-100-yard game in a row.) Yet, it was Dak – who rushed for 39 yards – who ran in for a touchdown at the start of the 4th quarter. Now, the 10-1 Cowboys face the once-hot, now-not Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings are stinging from their 16-13 loss to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. However, they’re not hurting as bad as Derek Carr, 25, was when he injured his finger during the Oakland Raiders’ game against the Carolina Panthers. Here’s hoping Derek is 100% when his Raiders host the Buffalo Bills. Consider the Bill team is known for roughhousing (and their fans known for throwing sex toys on the field) Derek needs to be ready for anything.

Week 13 also sees Tom Brady, 39, lead the New England Patriots against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have lost six of their last seven games. Ouch. At least they’re doing better than the San Francisco 49ers, who have been on a 10-game-losing streak. Even with Colin Kaepernick, 29, putting up the numbers (while causing a backlash over his controversial comments about Fidel Castro or the National Anthem protests) the Niners are coming up as big fat zeros. San Francisco faces the equally-meh Chicago Bears.
