Miley Cyrus found herself getting a little (or a lot) teary on the Nov. 29 episode of ‘The Voice!’ The pop princess totally broke down during one of the performances, but a surprising twist turned her frown upside down by the end of the night! See for yourself, here.
Miley Cyrus, 24, could barely hold it together on Nov. 29 as her team member Aaron Gibson sang for his life for the third week in a row, this time against Blake Shelton’s Austin Allsup and Courtney Harrell. While his rendition of “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” was beautiful, passionate and moving, Miley’s emotions seemed to take over for fear that there’s no way Aaron would be instant saved for a third time.
Very soon after Aaron began singing the Bob Dylan hit, cameras cut to Miley, who was gently wiping tears away from her eyes. By the end of the performance she was practically full-on sobbing! “You belong here,” said Miley after his performance. “If you don’t [move on], what you do is going to be so incredible, we’re all going to be playing your music so loud and loving it. You’re just so talented and you’re so honest and you’re so genuine and you’re so real and that shows in your tone and just in who you are. Thank you for having me be your coach.”
Miley’s praise definitely sounded like a goodbye speech, and we don’t blame her for expecting him to leave. He’s like a cat with nine lives, having already been saved multiple times before. Even Adam Levine agreed that Aaron’s performance was amazing, and luckily, so did America! That’s right, Aaron managed to get the instant save for a third week in a row, and Miley couldn’t have been happier! She immediately jumped out of her chair and dove into Alicia Key’s arms for a much-needed hug. Yay!
