Donald Trump got a death threat on Nov. 14, and the frightening message prompted Secret Service to respond. So what did they find? We have the shocking details, here.
President-elect Donald Trump, 70, had his life threatened in Nov. 2016 after a man who identified himself only as “Micah” posted a message saying “kill Trump,” according to TMZ. Donald’s Secret Service team responded right away and worked with Sheriff’s deputies in Greene County, Ohio, where the man shared the frightening message. So what exactly happened when authorities met with him?
Agents questioned the man, and asked him whether he was serious in his message about killing Donald. He responded, “Not unless he starts going door-to-door rounding up people like he says,” according to the outlet. The Secret Service and deputies then left after being satisfied by the fact that the man was not serious about the threats. Seriously, this is so scary, and we can’t even imagine what must have gone through their minds while they visited the guy who made the threat. We’re just glad that the authorities were satisfied by his answer and didn’t think that Donald was actually in any real harm from the message.
Meanwhile, the controversial president-elected seriously shocked the country on Nov. 29 when he threatened to jail and strip away the citizenship of anyone who burns the American flag. “Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag,” Donald tweeted. “If they do, there must be consequences – perhaps loss of citizenship or [a] year in jail!” This is shocking, especially since flag burning in the United States is currently NOT illegal — it’s protected by the First Amendment. Wow.
