Princess Ariel is headed to the country! In this epic remix of a Disney classic, Taylor Swift and Todrick Hall combine their talents to perform ‘Part Of Your World’ from ‘The Little Mermaid’ on the piano. Listen the amazing song, right here!
This is what it would sound like if Ariel packed up her underwater life and moved to Nashville instead of shacking up with Prince Charming. Taylor Swift, 26, sounds like a modern day Disney princess in this new video with Todrick Hall, 31, in which they sing and play “Part Of Your World” from The Little Mermaid on the piano. Dressed in their coziest holiday sweaters, Taylor and Todrick look to each other to help with the song’s lyrics as they giggle side by side on the piano seat. ‘Throwback to two nights ago,” he captioned the Instagram video.
If you simply can’t get enough of the singers’ adorable friendship, be sure to check out their epic mannequin challenge! The “Shake If Off” singer posted her own version on Nov. 24 that features the Todrick, best known for this run on American Idol, model Martha Hunt and Lily Donaldson. Unlike most edits we’ve seen, Taylor’s challenge takes place on the beach with nothing but the crashing waves in motion. The music in the background is Rae Sremmurd‘s “Black Beatles.”
Of course you might recognize Todrick as not just one of Taylor’s besties, but from his hilarious Hocus Pocus parody video. The singer-turned YouTube sensation joined Shanna Malcolm and Simone Shepherd in 2015 to create his own more appropriate version titled, “Hocus Broke-Us” that reached new levels of viral popularity in the blink of an eye! The video reenacts the famous Sanderson sisters who terrorize children on Halloween night with the goal of obtaining eternal youth. But in his interpretation, the three witches make comical modern references #FirstWorldProblems. You’ve got to see it!
HollywoodLifers, how would you rate Taylor and Todrick’s remix?
