Kelsea Ballerini gave us TWO presents this year for the CMA Country Christmas event. Not only did the blonde beauty slay the classical ‘Christmas Song,’ she also partnered up with pianist legend Joey Alexander to sing ‘My Favorite Things.’ Read all the details here!
The CMA Country Christmas event has some of Kelsea Ballerini’s, 23, “Favorite Things” — Kelly Clarkson, Joey Alexander, and obviously, Christmas music. Kelsea admits that this is her favorite holiday, so it’s no surprise that she was beyond excited and honored to perform on the Tennessee stage on Nov. 28. The blonde bombshell performed not one, but TWO epic songs at the festive event — “My Favorite Things” featuring one of the most praised pianists out there and “The Christmas Song.” “He’s incredible,” Kelsea said of Joey, a 12-year old musical genius, in an interview with Taste of Country. “Just being in the room with him and just watching him be so passionate and so talented at such a young age is so inspiring!”
No stranger to paying homage to the holidays, Kelsea rocked an incredibly festive Christmas-inspired outfit during Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. The songwriter rocked a glittery, red and green skirt as she wowed the crowd with her “Peter Pan” performance. It was basically freezing cold that day, but Kelsea didn’t even seem to notice as she stood on top of a magical “Cookie Express” choo-choo train decorated with hot chocolate mugs and cupcakes.
The time, however, Kelsea opted for a more glamorous look! Ditching the mini skirt, the Tennessee-native oozed nothing but sex appeal in a lacy-meets-sheer maroon dress that highlighted her mile-long legs. Kelsea wore red heels to match, kept her makeup classically simple, and parted her hair down the middle with a messy bun in the back. It was an A+ performance from top to bottom!
