Mariah Carey Watches Herself Try On Wedding Gowns In ‘Mariah’s World’ Clip After Split

Mariah Carey’s upcoming reality show, ‘Mariah’s World’, features some difficult segments, including footage of the pop diva trying on wedding dresses! Now that she’s called off her engagement to fiancé James Packer, it’s just heartbreaking! Click through to watch the ‘bittersweet’ footage.

Less than one year ago, Mariah Carey, 46, was planning the wedding of her dreams to the guy of her dreams, James Packer, 49. Mariah and James broke off their engagement in October 2016, but footage of their happier times together still exists in the eight episodes of Mariah’s World, her upcoming docs-series. It’s difficult to watch, to say the least!

Mariah’s World is all about the fun and fabulous life Mariah leads, but at the time that the show was filmed, that included wedding planning. That means a segment still exists that’s particularly heartbreaking in retrospect, given current events: Mariah watching herself try on wedding dresses. She’s giddy with excitement, swishing around a pretty veil and wondering if this dress is the one she’ll wear down the aisle to marry James. She looks so lovely!

Mariah opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how watching some of that footage now is difficult. Understandable! “All of those moments are bittersweet, but you just have to focus on whatever you’re focusing on and keep it moving,” Mariah said. She’s right! We’re getting the real Mariah in this show, and that means not editing out important parts of her life.

Mariah’s going to be just fine, though. While it just wasn’t meant to be with James, she’s reportedly dating her hotter than hot backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka. Not too shabby, girl! We only wish this potential relationship could have been included in the docs-series!
