Look who’s back! Two seasons after he was crowned winner of ‘The Voice,’ Jordan Smith returned to the stage to sing a holiday song from his brand new album. How incredible was his performance of ‘O Holy Night’?!
Jordan Smith sounded as incredible as ever while belting out “O Holy Night” amidst a stunning background of sparkling lights. Fans actually got to decide what song Jordan would sing from his new holiday album, ‘Tis The Season, and after that performance, we have to say that America definitely made the right choice! Then again, when it comes to Jordan, the viewers usually do, right?!
The 23-year-old was a contestant on Season 9 of the show, getting all four chairs to turn around during his Blind Audition and wowing the coaches and crowd each and every week, eventually being named the winner to no one’s surprise. Although he barely needed any coaching, Adam Levine worked with him closely throughout the entire season, and he could be seen beaming from his big red chair during his former champion’s return tonight.
Since winning The Voice in Dec. 2015, life has been a total whirlwind for Jordan. He released his debut album in March 2016, and has already dropped a holiday album just eight months later. Plus, he married his longtime girlfriend, Kristen Denny, on June 25, after less than a seven month engagement.
This holiday season, he’ll be taking the stage at CMA Country Christmas and the Rockefeller Tree Lighting, so even though he hasn’t had major mainstream success, it’s clear that Jordan is making a career out of music. Now, we’ll anxiously be waiting to see which Season 11 contestant joins him on The Voice winners’ list!
