Jennifer Aniston is just like us! The actress admitted in an all-new interview that she does indeed watch ‘Friends’ reruns when she has downtime. However, there’s one thing she absolutely hates about the show. Say what?!
“I can’t help it,” Jennifer, 47, said on BBC’s The One Show about watching reruns. “First, I’m trying to remember which episode it is, and then half the time I’m saying to myself, ‘I don’t remember that.’ You get sucked into the nostalgia of it.”
We feel you, Jennifer Aniston! Whenever there’s a Friends rerun on, it’s a no brainer. You watch the Friends rerun. Friends reruns are on almost constantly, so you’re never in need of more Friends!
Jennifer, who played Rachel Green on the hit NBC show, did reveal the one thing she doesn’t like about the show — the theme song! “No one was really a big fan of that theme song,” the actress said about The Rembrandt’s “I’ll Be There” tune. “We [cast members Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Scwhimmer] felt it was a little…I don’t know. Dancing in a pond? A fountain felt sort of odd. But we did it.”
Well, now that you mention it… the opening credits are kind of odd. But that doesn’t mean the Friends opening credits weren’t amazing!
Jennifer, who is currently promoting her new movie Office Christmas Party, is one of the most beloved actresses in Hollywood, but she revealed in the interview that she would love to step behind the camera. “Being in front of the camera for so many years, you start to realize you’ve collected so much information and knowledge about it and how much fun that would be to step out from in front of the camera and go behind and see what you can do,” she said. “It’s just very fun.”
