It may have been a rainy red carpet in Los Angeles, but Olivia Munn brought the sunshine to the 2016 AMAs with her floral print Reem Acra mini dress and golden beauty look.
In keeping with her springtime theme, Olivia’s beauty team dreamed up the perfect hair and makeup combo that was fresh and effortless. Hairstylist Laura Polko created a textured high ponytail, adding clip-in bangs that she trimmed to perfectly suit Olivia’s face for a boho feel.
To get the look, Laura started by prepping Olivia’s fine hair with IGK Down & Out Dirty Spray, $29, to add texture and natural wave. After working salt spray through the clip-in bangs and blow drying it in for a natural, textured look, Laura clipped the bangs into Olivia’s hair and trimmed them. Gathering Olivia’s hair into a high ponytail with loose pieces on either side of her face, Laura used a Scünci No Damage Hair Elastic, $2.59, to secure the pony in place.
Meanwhile, makeup artist Patrick Ta created a natural makeup look for Olivia that centered around glowing skin with peachy cheeks and a matching lip. To get the perfect color with a hint of shine, Patrick started by applying Burt’s Bees Lipstick in Nile Nude, $9, followed by Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss in Sunny Day, $9.
