Kendall Jenner made a triumphant return to Instagram on Nov. 20, just a few days after taking a break from the social media app, but she already has mixed feelings about it. Kendall definitely missed Instagram, but she fears she’s ‘addicted’ to it.
“Kendall [Jenner] has mixed feelings about returning to Instagram. She deleted her account because she felt like it was becoming kind of an addiction, but the fact that the fast only lasted a few days has kind of confirmed her fears — she’s hooked on social media,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But it’s more than that — social media is a big part of her business, and not being on it was affecting people who depend on her for PR, marketing, and advertising.”
This is true. While Kendall may want to keep her distance from Instagram, it does benefit her career, so she’s kind of stuck with it.
Kendall initially told Ellen DeGeneres she would only be away from Instagram for a few days, so her return isn’t a total shock to us.
“I honestly didn’t think anyone would care [that I deleted Instagram],” Kendall told Ellen on the November 16 episode of her show. “And my friends kept texting me, and my family members, and I was like ‘how does anyone even know?’ And they started sending me links to like, CNN and everything, and I was like, ‘why is this even a big deal?’”
“I just wanted a detox. I just wanted a little break. I’m always on it,” she said. “I would wake up in the morning and it was the first thing. I would go to bed and it was the last thing. I was a little too dependent on it; it’s a detox. I’ll be back!”
And back she is — with mixed feelings and all!
