Have you received your invitation yet? The hottest event of the year is the #KanyeIsOverParty! The hashtag has taken off after Kanye West dared to insult Beyonce and Jay Z at his Sacramento concert on November 19. That’s a big no-no. Click through to see the hilarious tweets from fans!
Oh, Kanye West. What have you done? The rapper’s incredibly strange concert in Sacramento ended after just 15 minutes of music, and a 10-minute rant about his frenemies Jay Z and Beyonce. The weird speech, given to the 13,000 fans in the audience, called Beyonce out for winning Video of the Year at the MTV VMAs over his “Famous” video, which he said “hurt” him. He implied that Beyonce allegedly told the network she wasn’t going to perform that incredible Lemonade medley unless she got the award! Okay, that’s taking things too far.
There were several reasons for the #KanyeIsOverParty to start, aside from the unthinkable Beyonce remarks. Kanye also dug into Jay Z repeatedly, asking him to “call me” and complaining that he “never called me.” It’s thought that he’s referring to Jay and Bey not reaching out after his wife, Kim Kardashian, was held at gunpoint and robbed in Paris. In a bizarre twist, he claimed that Jay Z has “killers” after his head! Where in the world is that allegation coming from?

As one Twitter user explained, this party isn’t just about Beyonce and Jay Z. It’s also about the way Kanye treated his fans in Sacramento. There was no opening act for the show, which started 1.5 hours late. Then, Kanye only played two songs for the crowd that had waited so long to see him, before launching into his rant. Some of his fans had paid $250 for the chance to see the Saint Pablo tour!
It’s not just Twitter, either. The party has now moved its way over to Instagram, where commenters are flooding the comments on Kim and Kanye’s feeds with bee and lemon emojis. How’s it feel being the new Becky, Kanye? The rapper has only one Instagram pic, taken nine weeks ago, but a ton of the comments at this point are the emojis. Same with Kim! She hasn’t returned to social media since her harrowing experience in Paris seven weeks ago, but that still isn’t stopping people from commenting with emojis. They’re also begging her to leave Kanye. Leave the poor woman alone!
