Prepare yourself, Mike and Ginny fans! Following last night’s shocking ending, Fox showed a promo that left our jaws on the floor. It looks like that spark between Ginny and Mike may just turn into more. Watch the promo here. (Warning: if you didn’t watch this week, spoilers ahead!)
The Nov. 17 episode of Pitch ended with Mike (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) telling Oscar he’d leave the Padres for the Cubs. Of course, that was after he gave Ginny (Kylie Bunbury) the advice she needed and revealed that he knew a lot about her — more than anyone else on the team, or probably in her life, did.
The promo for the next episode (set to air Dec. 1) showed Ginny and Mike at a bar following what appears to be his last game as a Padre, and she’s telling him that no one on the team wants him to leave. When they walk out, he calls her over for a hug… and then we see them nearly kiss. It’s not confirmed if they’ll actually kiss, but it seems like it.
It would make sense. We recently spoke with Mark-Paul who revealed that they couldn’t be together since they were teammates but that he thinks they’d be “romantically involved if the circumstances were different.” So, did he realize when he looked at her humming Katy Perry that he did have feelings? Or maybe it was when another teammate claimed to have them? Is that part of the reason he’s decided to go to Chicago?
We have so many questions and unfortunately have to wait until December, since the show is off during Thanksgiving. “You’re going to see the relationship flow like people who are actually in a relationship, but were not actually in a quote relationship,” Mark-Paul added in a recent interview. So, does that mean kissing, too?
HollywoodLifers, do you want them to be together? Pitch returns on Dec. 1 at 9PM on Fox.
